Opportunities in Sheffield's New Highway Maintenance Service

Sheffield is one of the UK's largest cities and has been transformed over the last 10 years with major investment in regeneration and infrastructure. One of the final pieces of the jigsaw to fulfil the Council's vision of being a modern vibrant city is to bring the City's highway infrastructure up to standard. The Council has recently appointed Amey as Service Provider for a 25 year Highway Maintenance PFI contract, commencing in August 2012, to improve the condition of the highway network over the initial core investment period (5-7 years) and to sustain this condition over the remaining period (18-20 years).
