INTERSERVE PREFERRED BIDDER ON GOVERNMENT'S FIRST FULL BIM PROJECT

Contractor Interserve has been selected as preferred bidder for the first government pilot project on which Building Information Modelling (BIM) will have been used throughout the tender process and at contract stage. The project, for client the Ministry of Justice, comprises a new three-storey houseblock for on-remand and convicted juveniles, together with an education facility at Cookham Wood young offenders institution, part of the Rochester cluster of prisons.
