Race is on to repair ailing Hammersmith flyover

Efforts to reopen the severely damaged A4 Hammersmith flyover have been hampered by the complexity of the structure, NCE has learned. Transport for London (TiL) has delayed for at least another week the hoped-for reopening because engineers still have work to do inside the bridge to assess the full strength of the structure.
