ICE North east has launched a new guide documenting historical engineering feats dating back to Hadrian's Wall. The Historical Engineering Works guide is drawn from a database complied by the ICE. It aims to help enthusiasts explore the region's engineering feats and raise public awareness of civil engineering. The North East is renowned for its rich historical engineering heritage, from the Twizel Bridge on the Anglo-Scottish border, to the Stockton and Darlington Railway in the South.
