Mace wins Spurs stadium role as planning decision looms

Mace has won a key role on the project to build Tottenham Hotspur Football Club's new stadium. The contractor was appointed as construction partner for the north London scheme. Mace will develop pre-construc-tion plans, work on detailed construction programmes and help the club procure specialist sub-contractors. The 61,000-seater stadium is to feature the largest single tier stand in the UK, with 17,000 seats. "This is another step towards the delivery of one of the best stadiums in the world," said Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.
