Rear Admiral Jeffrey A. Brooks has presided over a period of tremendous change in how we maintain our US Navy fleet, during his seven plus years as Fleet Maintenance Officer, serving in both the Pacific and Atlantic Fleets. He has been responsible for redefining the Navy's maintenance policy and overarching maintenance strategy in support of Fleet operations. He is a true maintenance professional, dedicated and committed to providing our sailors materially ready ships upon which they can depend. He will have recently retired at the time of this publication.
