摘要

Slamming is an important design consideration for high-speed craft. Much research has been conducted on the slamming pressures on high-speed hulls, however the measurement and prediction of the corresponding strain-field has been difficult. An experimental program has been established to carefully explore this fluid-structure interaction phenomenon. In order to facilitate the design of the model to maintain a structural response that is measurable, this poster presents a theoretical, one-way coupled fluid-structure interaction approach used to predict the hydrodynamic loading and then the structural response resulting from the load. Results from analytical models and comparisons to experiments will be summarized.
