Trinity College, Dublin and Tallaght Hospital seek to appoint a Professor of Clinical Medicine / Consultant Physician. The successful applicant will have a distinguished reputation in research and will provide leadership in all teaching activities (both undergraduate and postgraduate level) and research in addition to clinical responsibility. S/he will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders to progress the development of the Trinity Health Ireland academic health centre concept in keeping with the health reform agenda and recommendations of the Higgins Report (2013) on the Establishment of Hospital Groups as a Transition to Independent Hospital Trusts.
