Queen Mary, University of London is making a major strategic investment in establishing a new Institute of Bioengineering to promote multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary research in the field of bioengineering.rnWe seek to appoint a Chair in Bioengineering to lead, as its Director, the Queen Mary Institute of Bioengineemig. The successful candidate will play an important role in both positioning Queen Mary at the forefront of UK bioengineering research, and as a centre of excellence which exploits fully the wealth of talent across the Faculty of Science & Engineering, the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and associated Trusts, and in leveraging major research funding.
