ECOLOGICAL STUDIES ON THREE MEDICINALLY IMPORTANT PLANTS OFTHE FAMILY COMPOSITAE

摘要

All the three plant species selected for the study are short lived medicinal herbs. Ectipla alba is mostly found in marshy areas while Emilia sonchifolia and Vernonia cinerea are mostly seen along road sides and in waste lands. IVI shows that all the three species are not dominant in the habitat.
