Armed Forces architect is chosen for Bomber Command memorial

Liam O'Connor, the architect of the Portland limestone Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, has been appointed to design the long awaited Bomber Command Memorial to be erected in the City of Westminster, London.rnThe memorial will commemorate the bomber aircrews who flew in World War Two.
