WA inspectors have issued almost 300 notices for breaches of OHS laws during a recent safety blitz on cabinet making workplaces.rnInspectors visited 95 furniture-making businesses, and issued 295 improvement notices and four prohibition notices during the 12-month blitz.rnWorkplaces were selected at random in metropolitan and regional areas. Safety risks were identified and compliance information was providedrnto employers. The greatest number of notices (94) was issued for breaches related to the storage, labelling and use of hazardous substances.
