摘要

Deregulation of the electric utility industry has made cultural transofrmation a top priority for electric utlities. Long-established cultures of stability and entielement are being transformed to cultures of constant competitive challange and change. A key process for driving such transformation can be the performance manageemnt system. This article tells how one of the lagest electric utilities in the Midwest, Commonewealth Edison, used strategy-driven performance management to help transofrm key aspects of its culture from the of entitlement to one of increased individual and team accountability for results.
