Perceptions: Dateline TV 'Documentary' reviewed

For whatever reason, most likely awareness of great public interest, TV stations have carried a lot of UFO-related material over the last several months. Unfortunately, some of it has been terrible. A particularly egregious example was the NBC Dateline program of May 18, 2008.The approach was fairly straightforward. Select ten interesting sightings, describe them briefly, and bring in an investigator to defend the legitimacy of a case. Then bring in a debunker to say there was obviously a prosaic explanation.
