Christchurch, New Zealand-Orange and reddish lights spotted in skies above Napier, Taranaki, and Christchurch were a day too late to be Santa's sleigh, but could these mysterious lights be UFOs? Strange objects in the sky on Boxing Day (December 26) were reported at three separate locations, with the first sighting over Taranaki at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday night. The Canterbury Astronomical Society, however, is convinced the Christchurch lights were satellites.
