Debunker's rule: 'anything but alien'

Fairly often I have found examples of UFO debunkers "identifying" a UFO by using certain strange rules. From their viewpoint the basic rule is that no UFO sighting can possibly represent an alien craft. The rule is "ABA" - Anything But Alien. If their first explanation doesn't work, they will try a second. If that doesn't work, than bring in a third one. Two of the main investigative rules they apply are: 1. Don't bother me with the facts, my mind is made up 2. What the public doesn't know, I will not tell them.
