Mercury (magnitude: -0.6): From Ophiuchus into Sagittarius. For northern hemisphere observers Mercury will begin the month lost in the glare of the Sun, as the month passes Mercury will rise above the southwestern horizon; by month's end Mercury will be standing low above the southwest horizon at sunset and will set below the west-southwest horizon about 1 1/2 hours later.
