The clock has two cubes (2, 3) representing the earth and the sky, where one cube is opaque and the other is transparent. A movable lamp representing the sun, is moved, by an electric mechanism (1), in an orbit for showing day and night, where the day which is longer, corresponds to the night which is shorter. Three sides of the cube (2) are under shade to represent the night and three other sides are illuminated to represent the day. The clock is based on a year of 360 days, consisting of 12 months, where each month consists of 30 days. The orbit is graduated in time on straight angle, from 1 degree to 180 degrees.
