The apparatus comprises a coolant (K), whose heat is radiated at night over strongly scattering areas in the sky. The heat is removed from a storage at night and is fed back during the day. The thermodynamic process is cooled again during the day. The receiver (R) for the solar radiation is applied to conduct the coolant at night and to distribute the thermal radiation in the night sky. The receiver is displaced from the focus of solar collectors (C) or the collectors are deformed according to defocusing, to obtain scattering of thermal radiation over the night sky.
