Tempe - A strange triangular object was seen over Sky Harbor Airport on February 1, 2015. I am a graphic designer and my mother, a pilot, also saw it. I noticed a curious-looking craft flying silently above the full moon about 8,000 feet a mile east of me during the Super bowl at 7:40 p.m. It had one white, slightly yellow light on the bottom of it. This orange light appeared to illuminate the triangular structure of the craft. There were no navigation lights as it made a sharp 90-degree turn from north to west in seconds. A commercial jet would've been torn apart if it made a turn like that at that speed. I heard the thunderous sound of jet engines from behind and two military jets flew over 15 seconds behind the triangle. They were flying aggressively west in pursuit of the object, but could not make nearly as sharp a turn. I became extremely excited and frantic and called my mother, who came outside to witness the aerial pursuit as all three flew west towards the NFL Super Bowl game. The fighters lit their afterburners as we watched all three craft until they were out of view. We feel the jets had been scrambled to intercept this object. Thanks to MUFON CMS.
