Porsche plans a 1-2 punch wth this 2010 Cayenne receiving major changes, ahead of the more fuel-mileage friendly 2011 Roxster. The smaller model will have 4WD, a longitudinal engine, and overall length of 185 inches on an 111-inch wheelbase. Despite the use of Audi Q5 platform parts and the increasing fiscal closeness of the two companies, Porsche wants to widen the differentiation more than it did with the Cayenne-Touareg pair. So the Roxster has its own sheetmetal and greenhouse, and interior, and it doesn't share powerplants, as it's engineered for the same V-6 as in the Cayenne and Porsche's own naturally aspirated V-8.
