2013 Subaru BRZ Limited Rory Jurnecka

From the photo below, you can tell I've been having some fun with the BRZ. After 6 months of flawless daily-driving service, I decided to reward Burzz (and myself) with some honest-to-goodness competition driving. In Southern California, the local SCCA autocross season starts early because there's no snow to contend with, and a call to Tire Rack set us up with a set of black 7.0 x 17-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels (roughly 14.5 pounds each) and four 235/45/17 BF Goodrich Rl-S R-compound race DOT-legal tires. To remain in stock classing, the wheels are the same size as stock, though per regulations, I was allowed to use the widest tire that would fit on the rim. While I could have stepped up to 245-width tire, Tire Rack advised that the BFG doesn't take to being pinched on a rim. As advertised, the spare wheel/tire combo fits in the the back with the seats down for easy changes at the track, along with a bag of tools, a pair of helmets, refreshments, and a floor jack.
