1. Libyan crude production has reached 600 kbpd, with around 140 kbpd being used domestically. Output is due to reach near 800 kbpd by end-2011.rn2. The IEA has lowered its 2011 global oil demand forecast by another 70 kbpd, to 89.2 mbpd, due to weaker-than-expected 3q11 demand, particularly in the U.S., China and Japan.rn3. China is considering introducing new pricing regulations that would allow refiners to adjust fuel prices amidst rising or falling crude values without having to wait for a government directive.
