ROB AND PETRA, A VERY MORGAN WEDDING

The sun shone so much hotter than usual, The Bishop of Coventry had given his permission, and so a select band of Morgans headed towards St John The Baptist Church, Berkeswell. Why Morgans? Well Rob Pike, MOG's Three Wheel Racing Correspondent, and Petra Morgan Rarko were getting married; sealing a partnership that had been forged in the cockpit of a racing 3 Wheeler. Of course numbers had to be reduced from those that might normally be expected for such nuptials, but no man-made restrictions were going to dampen the spirit and happiness of the occasion. Happily, Rob's house has a huge "back garden". From early on Saturday morning the lawn started to resemble the paddock at a race meeting as Morgans, motorhomes, and other performance cars arrived. Tents were pitched, and posh frocks and suits were donned, and at the appointed hour Rob led us all to the church in a joyous column of Mogs and a couple of other noisy things. Meeting the vicar at the church, it did seem for a moment that the Rev was pointing out the escape route to Rob, but he was just drawing attention to Austin and Julia's late arrival in the other racing Five Speeder.
