CANADIAN CONNECTIONS

Greater Toronto, with around 5.6 million inhabitants, is the most populous metropolitan area in Canada. Sprawling along the north western shore of Lake Ontario, it is a vibrant, multicultural centre for trade and industry, with a developing need for improved communications. The Government of Ontario and the City of Toronto have responded with a raft of major capital projects over recent years, including upgraded station facilities, a new rail link to Pearson airport, fleets of new trams and buses and network extensions.
