Network rail is seeking bids for financial services framework contracts valued at up to £130 million. Running for an initial term of two years, with an option to extend for a further 12 months, the frameworks cover six aspects of financial services work. These include advice on general corporate finance, debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and tax and accounting. NR says that the advice and guidance required on corporate finance and related strategic matters can be 'simple or complex', adding that successful bidders will be able to provide advice 'informed by precedents from other regulated industries'.
