LONDON BRIDGE NEARS COMPLETION

The new concourse at London Bridge station fully opened on 2 January 2018 following work by Network Rail over the Christmas holiday period. As well as major progress with the station itself, the 10-day period saw completion of much of the railway systems work required for the remodelling of the layout around the station as part of the Thameslink Programme. Southeastern's Cannon Street services have resumed calling at the station using three new platforms following a period of over a year when they ran through without stopping.
