Mike Cooper to lead Arriva

DEUTSCHE BAHN subsidiary Arriva has announced that Mike Cooper, the current CEO of Eurostar, is taking over as the new Arriva Group Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Dr Manfred Rudhart, who has stepped down as Arriva CEO following almost five years in the role. Mr Cooper is familiar with Arriva, having worked there for nine years. He left the business in 2014 to become the CEO of Yodel and then the CEO of Eurostar. Prior to Arriva, Mr Cooper was the Chief Commercial Officer of easyJet from its flotation in 2000 until 2005.
