Now equipped with a self-closing safety gate, Steel Guard and Armor Guard protective railing systems are made of heavy, 11-gauge corrugated steel rails and fit a 48-inch post-to-post centerline. The gate, which opens to a 90-degree angle, is shipped with hinge assembly on one side and two gate stops on the opposite side. All hardware is included and the gates bolt to the existing posts without cutting, welding or drilling. For reorienting the gate swing direction, the bolts can be removed and the gate flipped. A steel spring automatically closes the gate after passage is complete. To promote visibility, the guard railing and gates are finished in UV-resistant, powder-coated yellow.
