When the company's corporate management decided to revamp a Port Stockton, Calif., distribution warehouse, management choose carton flow rack. But not just any flow system would do. At facilities in Los Angeles and in Miami, Smart & Final had used one carton flow rack to a limited degree, while it also had installed conventional flow lanes with plastic wheels, clips, and dividers.
