It takes a team of doctors to properly diagnose and treat a patient, relying on each other and the best technology and equipment. So when MEDRAD was having trouble efficiently packing their electro-mechanical injectors and other products, they turned to a team system and layout change to increase productivity. Previously, each packer prepared an order individually, packing the injector, operator's manual and up to 15 other accessories. Packers walked back and forth between the storage and packing area as they completed a customer's order, spending 25 to 40% of their time traveling.
