AD Alters Competitive Landscape with Launch of Power Transmission Division

"It's a natural migration of our value proposition into another vertical," says Jack Templin, president of AD's industrial supply division. AD's electrical division is its core, formed in the early 1980s, and today accounts for roughly half its member revenues, according to sources. It formed the industrial supply division in 1994 and now has more than 120 members.
