Camden wins tribunal over Guardian's requestforfull details of ASBO register

Camden LBC has won a unique tribunal against the Information Commissioner over a Freedom of Information (Fol) request from the Guardian. The London borough won the tribunal to protect the identity of individuals on its anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) database. In May 2006, Camden received an Fol request from a journalist at the Guardian for a copy of the database. The council released an edited version of the database, with the names of individuals and anything which might identify them removed.
