Taking the most effective route to carbon-neutrality

As the first council to declare a climate emergency, Bristol City Council is regarded as a leading voice among the hundreds of local councils who have followed suit to declare their own climate emergency; a seismic response attributable to Bristol's motion to the Local Government Association. In one sense being the first was brave but also something of a leap into the unknown. Bristol is now ahead of the game with a well-developed strategy setting out a clear route map for its ambitious target of carbon neutrality by 2030 as well as ensuring it has a resilient city.
