Migration benefits lost due to cuts

Government cuts to councils have meant the economic benefits of migration are being lost, new research has found. The report by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) think-tank found that, despite 'significant' rises in visa and citizenship application fees, cuts are being made to integration projects such as teaching English, funding for which has fallen by approximately two-thirds since 2010.
