As soon as you set foot in Derry, there's very much a sense that we're on the cusp of lasting change. There's a determination to make sure that the city effectively asserts itself as the regional capital of the North West of Ireland, plays its part in articulating the regional agenda to government, and works effectively in partnership (both within the city and the wider region) to achieve a consistent, clear message.
