Caerphilly CBC makes 'progress'

'Good progress' is being made on the four statutory recommendations in Caerphilly CBC's annual improvement report, council officers said this week. The auditor general has made a number of recommendations and proposals for improvement at Caerphilly since 2010. The council was criticised by the appointed auditor who highlighted a 'failure in governance arrangements and inadequacies in the process adopted by the council to determine the pay of senior officers'.
