All our councils and partners face major transformation and there is no doubt that information sharing needs to improve to enable this to take place. The Centre of Excellence for Information Sharing has been set up to help councils, government departments, police, the NHS and others to work together and share intelligence in a safe, seamless way. We're supported by a range of key departments and agencies, including CLG, DWP, DoH and the Information Commissioner's Office. When fully staffed, the centre will offer professional opinion and expertise, in person or online. You'll be able to browse through case studies and search for evidence of what's working in other areas. We're developing a network of like-minded professionals, who can discuss your information sharing nightmares. Colleagues across the country will be able to share valuable lessons.
