The chief executive of Serco's under-fire UK & Europe division, Jeremy Stafford, has stepped down to 'pursue other opportunities'.In a statement, the company said both they and Mr Stafford 'have concluded that a change in the senior leadership of our UK and Europe division' would 'accelerate and consolidate' the process of restoring its relationship with the British Government.Group chief executive Christopher Hyman left in October as part of a number of measures to designed to restore confidence in the company following a scandal over central government contracts.
