A blueprint for modern local government

Formed in 2009, Cheshire West and Chester Council is a new breed of council, focused on creating a modern blueprint for local government. To support its bold ambitions it requires a culture that is dynamic, open, innovative, business focused, not afraid of taking risks and puts the customer at the heart of every decision. Last year I wrote about how we were working to support the development of this culture and more than a year on I am happy to say that much progress has been made but, as with any journey, we've had our fair share of highs and lows.
