At long last ministers have released some statistics on the performance of the Work Programme - and about time too. The Government has done some good things to make the public sector more transparent and open, but the decision not to publish Work Programme data until now has been pretty indefensible. Schemes such as these should be fully open to analysis and scrutiny, so that we can learn how to do things better in future.
