Chief to stand down amid senior team shake-up

The chief executive of Blaenau GweNt CBC has announced he is leaving this month, as part of a shake-up in the senior management team. Robin Morrison will leave the local authority after councillors voted to terminate his contract. The councillors also agreed that the current director of resources, David Waggett, should take over as interim chief executive until after the 2012 local elections.
