Focus only on fraud could be a mistake

I was heartened by last Thursday's announcement of a new initiative to tackle the vast sums of money lost to fraud in the UK, following the National Fraud Authority claim that fraud against local councils cost taxpayers more than £2bn a year. However, the Department for Work and Pensions estimates that error accounts for double the losses caused by fraud.
