Health, care and devolution top the agenda at Future Forum North

Last December's second Future Forum North event from The MJ featured high level discussion on health and social care, budgets and devolution. The Forum heard how efforts to integrate health and local government partnerships could halt if the Government failed to recognise the crisis in social care funding, according to Jon Rouse, the chief officer of the Greater Manchester health and social care partnership. He warned that the country could end up in a situation where the transformation of health and social care 'slowed down because of the absence of social care funding in 2017/18'.
