As I approach the end of my year as President of SOLACE I am in reflective mode. One thing I have learned from working with senior colleagues from across the public sector is that when it comes to delivery and answering that exam question, 'what positive difference have we made to the people and places that we serve?', that we are often our own harshest critics.
