Limit London mayor's power call

The majority of London boroughs want to limit the mayor of London's power to apply the community infrastructure levy to just the Crossrail project during the scheme's infancy.However, some councils have expressed concern over the implications this might have on boroughs which do not directly benefit from it.There are fears this could mean priority is given to funding Crossrail over other strategic transportinvestment, such as plugging the hole in Transport for London's finances.
