The widespread reduction or cancellation of statutory funding to voluntary and community organisations has led to a renewed focus in the sector on tapping into alternative funding. This is an impor- tant endeavour in the current fiscal climate, and the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations has been encouraging its members to think about how they can diversify their funding streams for some time.
