摘要

The UK Government has signed up to legally binding EU legislation to reduce carbon emissions. By 2020,15% of all energy in the UK will come from renewable sources. In order to achieve the target the UK must reduce CO~2 emissions from power generation by increasing the percentage of electricity generated from a renewable source.
