The report emphasises that training in communication skills is available in a variety of forms. These include e-learning, which is often free - for example, e-ELCA (End of life care for all). It is available to social care staff whose employers are registered with Skills for care's National minimum data set for social care (NMDS=SC). Short courses held together as a team or externally are available, and there is also advanced level training which can take up to three days.
