Ministers have outlined a pipeline of future government contracts worth ￡84bn as part of the coalition's industrial strategy for growth and business support. Four new industry sectors have been added to the calendar of forthcoming procurements, which include construction (￡31bn), IT (￡.9.1bn), professional services (￡7.3bn) and the under-fire welfare-to-work programme (￡4.8bn).
